RIP Fumio Demura

I never met him but I did own some of his books on Kobudo back when I was dabbling with Japanese/Okinawan weaponry. What an incredible legacy he left.

Anyone here have any personal experience with him?

He used to attend the local Japanese Buddhist temple near me during holidays/celebrations such as Obon where I saw him and his students for demonstrations. I also saw him at DragonFest Expo often. Quiet man yet I could feel his mastery just being near him. Very polite every time I met him.
