Electronic Muscle stimulators???

Has anybody on this board used any type of electronic muscle stimulators? They seem to be getting pretty hot right now with all the comercials(I know Bruce Lee used to use them) so for anybody that has used them, did you get the results you wanted? Did your strength increase did you lose fat? I am curious cause I wanted to get one along time ago but that was when they used to cost like $300, today I saw one for $40 and that resparked my interest. So do they work well?
