Greetings,
It happened during the making of "Exit Wounds" (2001). There were scenes where he was walking normally. Then there were scenes where he was walking with a noticeable limp. There was even a scene where he was standing slightly to one side, as if to favor the other leg. He was never quite the same after that movie. His level of physicality dropped and the pounds began to accumulate. It is possible that NDAs kept the "reason" for that limp quiet.
