Did any of you guys go to the the Kung Fu competition at UBC? What did you guys think? Just curious... :confused:

Hey guys,
I was competing and it sucks cuz I didn't get to the grandchampionships....
I won 1st place, 2nd place, and 2 3rd places....
it was still lots of fun....
what about you guys?

Bruce Lee2, the event was pretty good but I honestly think the event three weeks ago by the other organization was better, the level of the kid's competitors at that event was definitely a lot higher (especially in the Wushu divisions). It seems to me that if the two organizations weren't in a dispute they could have jointly put on a much better event. As to myself I'm a little bit older, have a done a couple of different styles & don't study any longer with any teacher formally just do a little training on my own now.

Tekarius, how is it you got a first place in a division and didn't get to the grand championships? A 1st in any division is supposed to be an automatic in the grands. :(

I was wondering why there wasn't that many schools attending that competition?
