Christmas is coming and there are a lot of kids out there who will not have a full belly or warm clothing this season, let alone even one toy.
Check out your local organizations, contact your local newspaper or Salvation Army. Get a hold of Toys for Tots. If you don't know how to get involved, check with your local city hall or equivalent.

$10.00 - $ 20.00 can make such a world of difference for these kids. They are so appreciative, they would be elated to get a happy meal toy from Mc Donalds.

Do what you can, this is one of the few times where YOU can make a difference by yourself. It really is that important.

Thank you Water Dragon. I am sure many of us will be contributing to charities this Christmas season. I wonder how many schools out there have some community service for it's members? Contributing time or gifts to charities is a great way to enforce good values and bring us a little closer.

Yes! My wife and I did the Salvation Army Christmas Angels program. While your at the mall it's so easy. Pick up a tag with a kids name and wish list on it and then but them the gift. Bring it back to the Salvation Army booth in the mall and they wrap it and deliver it for you. Awesome!

I've also heard of people getting their kids involved in selecting the kid to give to, a great way to develop the giving spirit in your kids.
