These guys claim to be Chin woo but have NO connection. These guys claim to teach certain styles and yet teach others...badly. They encourage students to get on the internet and flame people who train in the legitamate system. The head guy thinks he is the emporer of China..hahahah. What a joke these guys are as bad as Shaolin Do, Ashida Kim and dare I say Chung Mu Do. Don't take my word about their lying money grubing ways take a look at their site

Yeah, the funny thing about theses conartist is they are stalking ME all over the net and harassing ME for not having a "Traditional
Master", all the wile "Thier" master is selling lineage head and inheritance titles to guys that know BARELY as much of the system as I.

I have also heard they are not authorised to sell Kuo Shou memberships either, but that don't stop them!!!

Those that are sucessful are also the biggest failures. the difference between them and the rest of the failures is this, they keep getting up over and over again, until they succeed. "The more they try, the more they fail, BUT, the more they try & fail, the more opertunity they have to succeed, and succeed they do!!"

Ha! Geneology? You're supposed to share knowledge with your students not genetic material. I guess we know what he does on the weekends.

Maybe that's why he calls himself re-lick.

Ya know - I don't necessarily like to bust on people for doing their own thing but...

This is the part I like best...

"One is allowed to use martial arts skills only in these three circumstances:
1. When someone wants to kill you.
2. When someone has kidnapped your wife or husband.
3. When your way of earning a living is stopped forcefully."

Does that mean you can't use your martial arts when someone has kidnapped you child? Duh!!!!

In addition to everything else, it appears they grant degrees for a fee as well.

The historical information is quite inaccurate in places. Yang Cheng-fu never got his art from his Grandfather Yang Lu Chan but from his own father Yang Chien Huo.

It seems the head instructor claims to have a Doctorate in CMA. Does that even exsist? If it does where can you get one?

This is the one I like
Make sure that the instructor in question has enough age to hold the rank he/she is claiming. International standard guidelines are as follows:

*Minimum age for a Ninth Degree Black Belt / Sash is 45 years of age.

*Minimum age for a Fifth Degree Black Belt / Sash is 30 years of age.

*Minimum age for a Third Degree Black Belt / Sash is 20 years of age.

*Minimum age for a First Degree Black Belt / Sash is 15 years of age.

How are these "international guidlines"? Who set these guidlines if they are? I also like this one

Check to see how they are recognized by their peers. For example if a student came into a reputable school and spent three months training, however, they then left. Four years later they open up Joe Kung's Kung Fu school and tell everyone they studied with the Great Masters of the Cloud Forest Chin Woo Association and has been doing martial arts for years. Well if someone calls us, we would say, "No, he got up to Yellow belt in three months then took off".

If their "37 generation inheritor" has only been there 2 years and was trusted to carry on the system, someone with 3 months could be called master by them as long as he paid enough. And since when are MCdojo owners like these considered "great masters"?

You need to understand that Sifu is the Chang Men Jen for the internal Tai Tzu style. And accordingly, he can appoint anyone to any position he wants. It's his style. YOU are not ENTITLED to anything. Get that straight. He could teach Ballet if he wanted and call it Tai Tzu. Why? He's the head of the style. You don't like it? Jump in a lake. Again, you are not ENTITLED to anything. Remember that.

So It is ok for him to lie? He may "own" that line of Tai Tzu but that doesn't mean he "owns" Chin Woo. So is it ok for him to lie about that?

Hhahahah the one on the right looks like a fat country truck driver....his name should be "red". Funny how there is abunch of students from the "Cloud forest Chin Woo" here talkin before but none of them are speaking up now that their fraudulent teacher is exposed. They scatter like cockroaches when you turn on the lights.

Let's take it easy here members.
After all, the intent of the forum is not to "bash" other styles, other teachers or other practices.

BTW, I am neither for or against what this club offers. It doesn't matter to me. Live and let live.

why are northern styles saluting in the signature southern way?

Kung Lek
11-07-2001, 08:08 PM
In fact, that is a Northern Shaolin Salute.
It means "Ming" fist is sun, open hand is moon.

It is not terribly well done mind you, but it is a northern salute.

Just got my email back from the USA Chin woo association and they confirmed the fact that these guys are NOT Chin Woo. They said that they will be publishing a list of all the Chin Woo schools in USA soon on their site. They also said alot of people asked about these guys, so they are obviously using the name to try and get some $$ from unsuspecting MA instructors. According to the USA Chin Woo, in order to be considered Chin Woo you have to teach all 10 core forms and these guys don't. I have undeniable proof that these guys are frauds now, they may teach good martial arts(doubt it though from the pictures)but they deffinately aren't who they say they are. If they are lieing about this what else are they not telling the truth about.

You have got to check out this picture. I mean, I'm old enough to remember the 70's as well, but there is no way in hell I'd allow this photo to EVER be seen by mortal man again!

I have to admit, though, they trained with Ark Wey Wong - who was the GM of my lineage. So maybe they aren't all that bad :o

I do know that my second level GM is Share K Lew, although I don't know if he is the successor or not.

While Sifu Lew did teach his own kung-fu ( Tao-ga and Choi-li-fut ) at Ark Wongs school, he never studied from Wong.

If you are not an accredited institution, you can get in serious trouble selling degrees with the letters BA, BS, MA, MS, Phd., etc. That is mail fraud.

Contact the state in question's department of education. If he doesn't have the right credentials, they will settle it. They've done it before with other martial arts diploma frauds.

I don't get mad.

Yes thats the ming thing, but its a southern salute. Learn you kung fu Kung Lek. Northern bows or crosses the arms. Even TKD does that. Wushu adopted it, thats why you think it's northern. your a moderator, yet your knowlege of kung fu savagely sucks the sweat off of DONKEY BALLS.
