How do I get a picture to come up?

How do I get a little picture to come up in my posts? I have absolutely no idea how to 'cos I'm not very computer oriented. Please explain?

I'm actually talking about the one that comes up under your name. You've got the little spartan helmet under yours, how do you get it to happen?

You have to put it as an avatar....it's in your user control panel....just look and you will find it!!! It explains it all once you get in there and read the directions!!! I just have to find a pic small enough to put under mine!:)

I have nothing against them. There cool and all, but the person i chose my name from was a real historical character. He was the subject of this comic series that i read.......... Loved it so i use his name. You can find some more info about it on the net
