Seems like all I do is cry wolf about the forum changes. Beleive me, there are plenty of things I would rather be posting...
The recent changes are just from Infopop. I guess this is why they decided to change our rates - Do you think this is worth an extra $400 a month? We couldn't afford it anyway...
Our operatives at Infopop and vBulletin have been very uncooperative. It looks like we will not be able to solve the date problem I mentioned in my last post about forum changes. So this is what's supposed to happen:
We will attempt to move the forum tomorrow. If we cannot sovle the date by then, all the previous posts will be dated 1970 instead of 2001. This will affect the display on how you access the data - if you want to see the old threads, you have to select to see everything (this will make more sense when we get there.) We're not sure how that will affect dates on replies yet, but theoretically all new posts will be correct. At least the archive will be preserved (although we will prune the OT posts over time.)
Ah, the 70's. Vinyl records, no internet, Shaolin Temple was still in ruins... How many of us here were even practicing back then?
