Weight Vests

I know this subject has been brought up before but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with www.weightvest.com?
I have some Christmas money and I'm thinking about buying a vest from them. I have an old one but I like the looks of the ones on this site, they look like they would fit a lot better than the one I have. Plus you can get quite a bit more weight to add than with the kind I have.
And if anyone has any cheaper suggestions, I'd like to hear that too.

Before you hurt youself, what is the weighted vest for (like what type of training)? I think many weighted vest training methods can be done differently and just as effectively without a vest.
