Hello, i'm new to forum. Though i've been viewing the forum for a month or so, i haven't posted anything because.. i just... didnt have anything to post...hehe.

But my question is, does this place look like a legit ninjustsu school? Tampa Quest Center (http://www.tampa-quest-ctr.com/)

i saw this because i will be moving to tampa soon and im just setting up an early search into what school ill be joining.:)

btw, ive also seen some people from Tampa here in the forum. How's the Wah Lum school there?

I dont know much about Toshin Do, except that it is the creation of Stephen Hayes. I'd say it looks legit. I hate to advertise, but you might try to see if there's a Genbukan dojo near you; there are far less than Bujinkan dojos, but you will have to access to some other arts such as Yagyu Shingan Ryu and Chinese arts (Hakkesho and Chigong). Good luck!

And it goes without saying that you should avoid anything that says "Koga ryu."

Hi,

Toshindo can be considered a liget ninja school, since Hayes is a legit ninjutsu teacher. But Toshindo doesn't just focus on Bujinkan it is his way of expanding his art.

When last I checke the Wah Lum Temple was dongi well. I don't know of any Genbukan in Tampa but go to Tenemura's site and you can find what is in the area.

(just a sidenote since the thread is closed: I am still itching for a chance to tear into the little guy.!:D )

Check out the Warrior Information Network at http://www.winjutsu.com/winlinks.html For the differences in the different takamatsu-den schools check out the Hoshin Dojo (http://www.hoshindojo.com/html/8_main.html#confused)
