Actually it wasn't attacking me. I was riding on the back of a horse trailer holding the gate shut, (we had way too much stuff in there) and the neighbors dog (which I hate with a passion) came alongside barking. I "punted" putting the arch of my foot under the dogs jaw. While I'm sure nobody cares about this stupid story it served to remind me that nobody should kick with the arch! It's tender! So please, learn from my mistake.
