Can anyone tell me about this guy? I have heard a lot about him, seen a few films he has been in, but is all the hype accurate?

If you mean Benny 'The Jet' who has been in several Jacky Chan films?
He is a first rate full contact fighter and rarely lost a match in his carear. He is also partly reasonsible for making full contact so popular in the US and he traveled a lot drumming up surport.
Great guy and an AWESOME fighter have a look at some of his old tapes he still manages to ammaze me. He has some of the best timing and distancing ive ever seen.

I love Benny. I met him at the Wesley Snipes thing...Great Martial Arts Masters of the 20th Century or something...and he was really nice.

You should see some of his fight tapes. His characteristic technique was a spinning back kick. He dropped a lot of fighters with that kick.

Read up on him, he comes from a family of fighters.

Many consider him to be the best trainer in the world.

I own his tapes. They are worth buying, the drills you will get are excellent.

I think his two fights with Jacky Chan in 'Wheels on Meals' and 'Dragons Forever' are two of the best on screen fights ever!
He was properly a match for Jacky and you could see it, what he gave to Jacky in speed and flexablity, he made up for in power and timing.
Totaly brilliant fights both of them, and many of the hits were basicaly real as well. You can see him punch Jacky so hard in the face on Wheels and Meals they actualy use slow motion to show Jackys face being contorted from the blow.

He also has a great seminar. Be prepared to sweat through the whole thing, and you'll learn allot.

Great fighter/instructor altogether.

Great fighter! 1 of my heroes in the Martial Arts.
Beat alot of good fighters,Fought in kick-boxing under all the different rules including Thai& Japanese. He even fought in toughman contests & NHB type events before the UFC.In one event he choked out(yes I said choked out) a marine over twice his size(Benny's only like 5ft5 & around 150-160 lbs)

The only thing I don't like about him is his trying to take an obivous loss(Billye Jackson) off his record saying that he thought it was an exhibition.
Of course I still like the Gracies & they kinda do the same excuse thing. If you lose you lose.Just do it like a warrior.

Always c ocked,locked & ready to rock!

I saw a picture of him in black belt magazine wearing a karate gi and kicking a guy with a round house. I think he did karate or something.

Yea, Ralek he does Shotokan & Kenpo karate. You should challenge him. He's lightweight too so he should meet your requirements. Yea go ahead you can handle him.

While your'e at it challenge a karate guy named Joe Lewis. You should be able to handle him as well. Just walk into his school and call him "punk biatch".

Good ideas, Badg. Ralek may also look into traditional Kung Fu guy David C.K. Lin. If harsh words don't work, just go ahead and attempt a double-leg takedown. That'll show his beotch-ass.

LOL...u guys trying to get RALEK killed??? Even if Ralek was a purple BJJ I wouldn't challenge JOE LEWIS or BENNY THE JET. Benny has very good hands...he box like a pro fighters having sparred with pro fighters...he has the baddest spinning back kick...and his foot work in those Japanese fight were great...he rarely took a solid hit! Benny was prob. one of the best full contact fighter in the 70's! He also is crosstrained in BJJ and GENE LEBELL grappling system. Joe Lewis has switched to thai boxing completely! Although he still kept his trademark side kicks...OUCH.

Well, that would disqualify Benny "The Jet" and Joe Lewis from Ralek's challenges since he doesn't challenge BJJ or Muay Thai.

I met "The Jet" a few years ago, and he was a really nice guy. He had nothing but good things to say about everyone, even former opponents. For what few moments I spent with him, he was a real class act.

Benny was one of the first western fighters that went to Thailand to fight the champions from Lumpini stadium(?)! He lost two straight matches but he did it with a heart of a lion. He got much respect from the thai fighters. He is awesome....
