Round/Front kick to the kneecap. It works, and its hard to defend against. Simple, effective, crippling.

Roundhouse kick - its bewdiful, and it has won me enough fights to have confidence in it.

good ol' right hand hook - gets the job done

A hard, quick, fast right hook punch to the side of the temple.
A direct front thrust kick to the sternum

Left leg roundhouse - I usually fight southpaw, so that's the rear leg for me, and my straight punch - either straight right or straight left, depending on my lead. They're both about equal in strength.

The good old fashioned right cross. :)

Maybe its got to do with a lifetime of only playing every raquet sport under the sun building up my right arm, but its as though i've been training this punch all my life.

Back choke. I've won more fights with this than anything else.

Downwards arching claw to either clear the way or distract there hands then strait punch right into the middle of the chest. Suprisingly VERY effective. You must get the arch right on the initial movement though.

MonkeySlap Too

groin ripping reap throw.

or just a peng chuan right down the center.

At least that's this weeks favorites. They work for me.

The technique that LSW is doing in my avatar pic, used as a takedown, with the leading leg behind the opponents' leg, and the leading arm coming down across the neck or collarbone. Close second is the hook the front foot and sort of a right or left hook to the temple simultaneously.

F.C.,
Sorry, I believe that you are meaning to say what series of techniques?
If you are only meaning one technique, then you better be able to knock out your opponent with that one technique and you better do it fast or hope that he is a slow learner and that he doesn't pick up on that one technique.

I always was partial to Ippon Seionage. Its worked for me on a couple of occasions. Not in a life or death situation but it coulda been. I got a look of total shock from the person on the recieving end. Oh yea, its One Arm Shoulder Throw in English. You Judoka know what i'm talking about. Its my favorite Judo throw except for Tomoe Nage (Circle Throw). i}amn thats cool

guohuen
01-25-2002, 08:41 AM
I love that throw. I don't use it much anymore because the army forced me to learn a screwed up version of it that left an open gate on the wrist grab.Hahaha... haven't there been multiple threads on the problems of mixing styles?

I just wrote the technique that first popped up in my mind, there are many others too.

Such as sidewards elbow to throat
Heel kick to knee
or dislocating neck.

Leonidas
01-25-2002, 10:14 AM
That elbow to the throat is a classic killing move :D

How did the army manage to screw up a simple throw like that.
I dont even take Judo and i did it properly. They should really start teaching H2H, and stop the reliance on guns and grenades. It might come in useful to someone.

Rear choke, chiken wing choke and rear naked choke. They work practically always to a normal untrained person.

guohuen
01-26-2002, 11:39 PM
They taught to grab the wrist from the side so all you had to do to get out was simply pull your hand away. Duh.

buksing_king
01-28-2002, 06:06 AM
it is really an overhand blow from your leading hand followed by a cross( half fist in this case) which is then followed up by a side-arm attack to the attackers stomach with your original leading hand

My most confident technique must be double leg takedown and bulgerian head lock, they never know it coming! And I laugh at their pain!HAHAHAAHA!Pathetic mortals running on a fools errand!

I've grown partial to the jumping chicken kick to the chest or chin. I also like an iron palm strike to the chest.

adren@line
02-26-2002, 08:19 PM
thai low kick (shin to thigh).

its really hard to see coming, does alot of damage, and is a good counter move to a jab

basically any kick with my right foot and the low kick with my left foot.

02-28-2002, 01:29 PM
If the opening is there, Lead leg side kick to the knee,or finger eye jab If they cant see or stand then they cant fight.

Sho
03-01-2002, 04:44 PM
Chudan Uke, Hijiuchi, Seoinage. I personally like this combination very much, because I have mixed karate and judo into it. Actually kung fu too, because chudan uke can be considered as a biu jong and there is also a similar strike for hijiuchi.

Leonidas: "Circle Throw".... tut tut tut. Common misinterpretation.

It stands for "Stomach Throw". And NEVER use it. I dod once and got pounded by the big-ass Mofo I was fighting. Took me a lock and a crafty elbow to escape. But I did kick the living crap out of him in the end.

Happy days............ :D

Any shoulder, elbow, wrist or finger Chin na, combined with a sweeping or hooking kick to the legs and a push. Then when your opponents on the ground stomp on his throat.
Or run like hell.
I don't like getting in fights, but I like fighting. Hope some one understands what I'm saying.

Grabbing him, hitting him really hard, throw him to the graound and hit him really hard a few more thimes.

Mr.Sleazy

My best technique is the flaming spear-finger rigid pinky strike to the forehead, followed by the well-respected flying face-butt to the kneecap. Then, while you are unconscious with a pinky dangling only by the tendons, you will feel no pain and your opponent is essentially defeated.

Get close, as soon as they commit to a punch, wedge block out front, bamboo step and *BOOM*, pichuan (open palm -like a straight arm) to the face or neck or jaw, whatever. Very nasty blow.

To execute (simplified):
Cover your centerline, watch their body left or right, block out and into their source of punch (shoulder or hip), and step in with good body structure. This will work for internal stylists better than external, however, even done incorrectly, this is a great 'rattler'.

Did this a few times, but doubt it will always work, most fights start out with talking trash. as the other is talking trash, walk circles around him.... sounds odd but works. soon as they move a hair, ur already have them off balance cause ur constantly moving and not right in front of them. as your circling them, just talk trash. if thers a bunch of them, pick one and demand he fight 1x1. or just to the BananaMan way - act like a complete pyscho. i mean would you fight someone who started drooling and screaming like a maniac and hitting himself and doing all freaky stuff? lol, kinda have to let go of ur dignity to do this, but it really just freaks the hell out of them and they just leave.

BananaMan
05-15-2002, 04:37 PM
As for as much technique as someone has or how good at fighting they are, theres something to be said about the drugged up beserker. they almost invunerable-like and just plain pyscho. my friend does this whenever he gets confronted and it just scares the living hell outa everyone. doesnt matter if they have knives or not.... not a full-proof way ,but defenitly affective. u'd at least lower their confidence and make them nervous

Stare two inches above their right shoulder and SHOUT every third word in your third person plural explanation of how they 'always need MEDICATION after the PCP they are TAKING for their PTSD wears off OFF!'. Frothing helps.

The best technique I have involves pleading to be let alone. Then you get all snooty with them and tell them that you are too smart to fight them. Then take a silly untrained fighting stance and make stupid noises. When they swing at you, make sure to take their knuckles on your chin. Collapse to your knees and scream about a lawsuit. When the police come, press charges and hire a lawyer and make sure to press a civil suit. Take all their money and spend it on a trip to the Shaolin Temple in China.

That one works great!

Straight right to the nose, not a hook as you lose loads of power at the apex of the hook.
a straight right when they come to attack you works a treat everytime.
fights rarely continue when your opponent can`t even see you properly.

If a kick comes out first Iron Palm to knee, Ox fist to ear or lower/middle jaw and I tend to thrust kick on peoples shins and in-steps alot.

Maybe not the most aggressive moves but for hit and run, it's fine.
