i have a video of kung fu and it has a turtle stylist, it looks very external as in the body conditioning- has anyone seen this or heard of this system.

I've seen it. I presume the video is part of China's living treasures.

Looked a bit silly to me.

I particularly enjoyed the part where the guy was lying on his back waving his arms around like fins.

Let me guess, someone viewed a turtle in combat and copied its motions! hahahaha
Another strike against animal form mythology...right up there next to the origination of the dragon style.

I understand the turtle style always beats the hare style.

I am a big beleiver in luck. The more I work, the more luck I have.

How is Elvis or how was Elvis? As for how he was...really not very good. I have seen some 8mm tapes taken by Parker during Elvis's training...

How is he now? I'll talk with him tomorrow and get back to you, k?

If not I am going to make one up. It will emphasis body conditioning and the proper use of ones weight in a fight.

Outer space is a nice place to live but nothing beats gravity...

That's just what we need. There's not enough people making up their own styles today.

The guy didn't close up, he got up and walked off. It was obviously a joke that the documentary folks didn't get.

BTW not enough folks making up martial art styles????? Check out anybody that teaches ninjitsu or Pancrase or JKD they always make up their style. I just invented Komodo Dragon set, it involves low leg sweeps and grappling, lots of venomous biting too.

There's White Ape style, does that count? I'm not exactly a primate expert though. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I know there was a ccrab style and a bat style. I believe that they got rid of the crab style because it just didn't work.... I'll have to look into my notes..
