lot's of styles have a set that fits your english description.
Lien Bo Chuan , linked(continuous) stepping fist
from Bak Sil Lum
Lin Wan Kuen , continuous and returning fist
from Shaolin, also in some choy li fut styles
and so on, it is likely a set that develops fundaments in the style.
Most styles have a power development set and a fluidity set. the "continuous" sets usually target fluidity as the focus. While the "power" sets focus on strength.
Then Da or Jeet sets focus on speed.
what's in a name? :D
