Master Li Jun Feng is the head and principal teacher of the
International Sheng Zhen Society. Master Li is best known as having
been the head coach of the world-renowned Beijing Wushu (Martial
Arts)Team and National Wushu Team of the Peoples Republic of China for
over 15 years. Under his leadership, the Beijing Wushu Team
consistently won first place in both national and international
competitions for over 12 years, elevating the standards of excellence
and quality worldwide. During those years Master Li also achieved
international fame as a martial arts movie star and director. One of
his most famous students is movie star Jet Li, an early leading member
of both Wushu teams since boyhood. In 1987 Master Li met Master Gong
Chang, who imparted the qigong practices of Sheng Zhen. In 1992 at the
height of his professional success he gave up both his position as coach
at Beijing University and his film career to devote his life to sharing
Sheng Zhen Qigong with the world. Today he serves as advisor to the
World Academic Society of Medical Qigong and the Qigong Science Research
Association of China. He is now based in Manila, Philippines, and
travels extensively to bring the practice of Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Qigong
to people around the world, sharing what he has learned and how he has
been transformed by this remarkable practice. Leading qigong masters
have described Master Li as a movement genius and extraordinarily gifted
teacher, able to impart the essence of qigong to beginners and advanced
students of all ages and backgrounds.

Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong is a graceful and beautiful qigong form
(energy mastering exercise) that not only develops and heals the body
but also elevates the spirit. Although this style may appear similar to
other forms of qigong, what distinguishes it from others is that it
awakens the quality of unconditional love. Like a dance expression of
both body and spirit in the form of moving and non-moving exercises, it
enables the practitioner to unfold the love within, developing the
highest expression of our humanity.

February 2-3, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Introduction to Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong
Master Li will teach the three core practices of his qigong system.
Kuan Yin Standing Qigong is particularly good for the general health of
the body. It energizes and strengthens the life force, and can prevent
and treat disorders of the spine. Jesus Sitting Qigong is for calming
the disposition. A calm disposition is the essence of health; it
dispels worries and cares, nurtures qi, and balances the body. Nine
Turns Meditation (Jiu Zhuan Zhen Dan) is a meditative non-moving qigong
done lying down. It involves the circulation of qi throughout the body
to strengthen both the body and mind. Because this requires no physical
effort, in can be practiced by those who are physically impaired.

February 4-7, 7:30-10:00pm
Introduction to Baguazhang
Baguazhang (Pa Kua Chang) means Eight Trigram Palm. Based on the I
Ching, baguazhang is one of the most beautiful and healing forms of
Chinese internal martial arts, as well as one of the most effective.
Baguazhang combines circular footwork and gentle spinal rotation with
graceful spiraling and coiling arm movements. It promotes balance,
grace, flexibility, agility and internal strength, and is especially
beneficial for the spine. Master Lis main teacher was Li Ziming, one
of the great baguazhang masters of the 20th century. Master Lis
students won first place in Chinese competitions for over ten straight
years. This is an unparalleled opportunity for you to learn baguazhang
from one of the worlds great living masters.

This is a special one day class for those students who took the first
Introduction to Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong. Master Li will refine and
correct all of the movements and meditations from the first weekend, and
will also add the final four movements of Kuan Yin Standing Qigong to
finish the set. Recommended prerequisite: Introduction to Sheng Zhen
Wuji Yuan Gong

Sunday, February 10
Sheng Zhen Healing Qigong, Part III
Integrating the essence of all spiritual healing tradition, Sheng Zhen
Healing Qigong uses the unlimited reservoirs of transpersonal power in
Nature to heal oneself. Although the main medical benefits for Sheng
Zhen Healing Qigong are to allow the qi to directly enter and nourish
the blood and acupuncture meridians in the human body, the underlying
purpose of this practice is to experience the opening of the heart and
the stillness of the mind. We will introduce the third set of Sheng Zhen
Healing Qigong, called The Alchemy Frees the Source Within.
Recommended prerequisite: Sheng Zhen Healing Qigong, Parts I & II.
