How many of you have followed the tradition of naming weapons? And what are the names of your weapons if you have?

I name mine according to their "personalities."

I have a Jian named Iron Cloud.
A Gun named Ash.
A pair of twin short swords named Magni and Modhi.

Anybody else?

...but now I have way too many weapons to name. I can't even keep them clean anymore. When I was dealing weapons, that severed any attachments that might be named.

Oh, that's mean. It's funny as Hell, but it's mean, man.

Hey Gene,
Sounds like you need to get rid of some of them. I'm accepting donations...hint, hint.:D

Oh and by the way, that's "Gun" as in staff, not as in firearm.

My kung fu brother named his staff "The Staff of Sure Death". It was a sad day when it finally cracked from use, but he cut it into smaller lengths that lived on for a while as "The Drumsticks of Sure Death" for the Lion Dance team.

I think that was the only weapon ever named at our school.

I honestly don't know any of them well enough to name yet, maybe the nunchukus from back in the Issin-Ryu days -- I actually pulled them out last night with my sai's for a trip dowm memory lane.
