Dame Dr. Effie Chow Talks Water & Health On Kleyne Talk Radio (https://www.prweb.com/releases/2018/06/prweb15536381.htm)
Qigong Grandmaster Chow Teaches Breathing on Kleyne Talk Radio Show. Chow & Kleyne Advocate Water Life Science Lifestyle® for Healthy Living.
GRANTS PASS, ORE. (PRWEB) JUNE 05, 2018

Date aired: May 24th, 2018

Guest: Dame Dr. Effie Chow
http://www.eastwestqi.com

Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® on VoiceAmerica, wants her talk radio audience to take seriously the pivotal role that water plays in life and health, and so she happily welcomed back Dame Dr. Effie Chow to discuss the water vapor of the atmosphere and peoples’ perceptions about water.

Kleyne and Chow are strong supporters of Kleyne’s new lifestyle, which she has dubbed Water Life Science®. At the core of Water Life Science® are the following principles: drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, regularly supplement body and eyes with pure water, exercise, sleep well and eat a healthy diet.

Dr. Chow, herself a Qigong Grandmaster, an international water researcher and expert in traditional Chinese medicine, believes that a positive mind and sound thinking are essential to living a healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle. “When you rest in the evening,” said Chow, “you embrace the yin of the pure night; when you wake up in the morning, you embrace the rising yang, the pureness of the day.” Kleyne added that Chow’s description made her think of “the rhythm of the music of life.”

“Each cell is a microcosm of the macrocosm of the universe,” said Chow. That is why both Chow and Kleyne lament the rampant pollution that threatens all life on the planet. In her native China, for instance, Chow regrets the fact that many in the younger generation forsake traditional Chinese values and Chinese medicine for all things western. That the opening of 180 McDonald’s in Shanghai was widely celebrated made Chow sad. “It just means a lot of bad eating,” said Chow.

Chow remains true to her belief in Chine medicine and the practice of Qigong, especially, for promoting health and extending healthy lives. Qigong means learning to breathe, and Chow on air expertly demonstrated breathing through the nose, which acts as a filter of pollutants (“Nature’s Nasal,” Kleyne called it), and breathing through the diaphragm. “If you don’t breathe, you’re dead,” said Chow. Through Qigong, the perfect martial art for a Water Life Science® lifestyle, one learns to maximize use of water in the oxygen. “People must develop enlightened consciousness with regard to breathing,” Chow said.

Kleyne added that she performs daily breathing exercises in the shower. Chow approved, describing how the water in showers creates negative ions, which are good for you. Positive ions, on the other hand, are not so good. In fact, they are carcinogenic. Air conditioning creates positive ions. Chow also recommended hugging trees as a great way to reconnect with nature and improve breathing. “Trees breathe with and talk to you,” Chow said. Kleyne and Chow agreed that stress is often the result of over-evaporation of the body’s water vapor, and that everyone should supplement their boy water vapor several times a day with pure water, as people do when living a Water Life Science® lifestyle.

Mother Of American Qigong Chow Fights Addiction With Water & Breath (http://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/mother-of-american-qigong-chow-fights-addiction-with-water-breath-1027361585)

Dame Dr. Effie Chow, known affectionately as the Mother of American Qigong, is a miracle worker who brings restorative health to people suffering from the worst possible maladies.

Visiting Sharon Kleyne's internationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Water Life Science®/Nature's Pharma®, The Power of Water® & Your Health sponsored by Nature's Tears® EyeMist® on VoiceAmerica and World Talk Radio, Chow shared an example of her recent work.

"I traveled far to work with a severe stroke case," Chow began. "The woman was debilitated, emaciated, weak, had poor balance and was only drinking two glasses of water a day. For almost three years, she had to be lifted in and out of her bed. I started her out with six 10-ounce glasses of water a day (building her up to ten glasses a day)," Chow explained, "Her skin, which had been very dry, almost immediately got better coloring and texture. I taught her to breathe deeply, the Qigong way. Her energy increased, and she managed to get off her bed on her own. This was all accomplished on my first visit."

"Water," added Kleyne, "is the essential element of health. Water is our life. Without water you cannot live." Kleyne asked Chow to share the story of how she got started as a healer and teacher.

"That's a long history!" laughed Chow. "I was fortunate to grow up with traditional Chinese medicine concepts in practice. I witnessed many, many miracles. When I grew up, we didn't have the incredible environmental crisis we face now with the dryness of the atmosphere and all the chemicals in the air. Now achieving better health is a big problem due to the changing climate."

Kleyne noted that Chow has also performed miracles with people trapped by addiction. Chow has worked extensively with people and veterans suffering from PTSD, Opioid, alcohol and smoke addictions. Chow related the story of how she was approached by a veteran who told her, "I've been looking for 30 years to find my wholeness, and I found it in one weekend workshop with you."

Chow believes in a good, healthy life in which people feel peaceful, healthy and fulfilled. "Everything starts with yourself," said Chow, "and your mind is the greatest healer. Qigong is not a religion, but it teaches us to supercharge the body with oxygen. It is a practice that makes the most of our physical, emotional and spiritual power." Chow concluded by explaining that "we are a microcosm. There is no separation in existence. Every organ, every cell, is a tiny universe."

Kleyne urges everybody that wants to live a healthier lifestyle to do five things:

1. Learn to breathe deeply and properly
2. Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day
3. Nutrition that is best for you
4. Regularly perform moderate exercise
5. Learn to sleep well with planet Earth

I had to look up 'Dame'. Here's what dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com/browse/dame?s=t) says:

dame
[deym]
noun

(initial capital letter) (in Britain)
the official title of a female member of the Order of the British Empire, equivalent to that of a knight.
the official title of the wife of a knight or baronet.

(formerly) a form of address to any woman of rank or authority.

a matronly woman of advanced age; matron.

I don't remember hearing about her getting recognized by the OBE. Anyone know how to verify that?

For 12 years, Sharon Kleyne, host of the internationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Water Life Science®/Nature's Pharma®, The Power of Water® & Your Health sponsored by Nature's Tears® EyeMist® on VoiceAmerica produced by Rose Hong, founder/director of Global Dragon TV in Washington, D.C., has created a program platform in which she and her fellow international scientists teach listeners about water vapor and evaporation. Recently, Kleyne welcomed her program's producer, Rose Hong to discuss a special cruise featuring the healing work of Qigong Master Dame Dr. Effie Chow, known affectionately as the Mother of American Qigong.

In 1997, Hong, a native of China who attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, launched Global Dragon TV. Global Dragon TV https://www.GlobalDragonTV.com offers programming seven days a week, 24 hours a day and reaches 70 countries worldwide. Hong herself hosts and produces two weekly TV shows, Global Odyssey and Whole Health Living. Hong is also a board member of Montero Medical Mission, which provides medical and education outreach by sending US volunteer doctors to locations around the world.

Recently, Hong and Effie Chow partnered with Celebrity Cruise Line to offer the Wellness Cruise. People from Asia, America and Europe suffering from a host of chronic diseases and ailments flocked aboard to experience the benefits of "The Chow Healing System". Passengers suffering from PTSD, cancer, heart disease, Parkinson's sexual dysfunction, eye conditions and other maladies reported improvements in their conditions after working with Chow's system that integrates the body, mind and spirit through the practice of Qigong.

To Kleyne's question: "What is Qigong?" Hong answered, "Qigong is a 4,000 year-old healing tradition in Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines teachings of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism," said Hong. "Qigong seeks to help one align the breath, body, movement and awareness. It is also a martial arts training," Hong added.

Kleyne and Hong, who both use mass media to teach people how to become healthier, agree that people need to drink enough water, eat a nutritious diet that is right for the individual, exercise moderately, learn to breathe properly and sleep well, These necessities are sympathetic to Qigong practice.

Kleyne and Hong believe that The Wellness Movement is growing. "People of all ages," said Hong, "are joining The Wellness Movement." The Celebrity Wellness Cruise is just the latest example of the movement's evolution to helping people achieve sound health and longevity.

"We also look forward," said Kleyne, "to our radio program continuing to evolve, welcoming scientists, researchers, teachers, authors, students and the curious to study water vapor, evaporation and find cures for the diseases and illnesses that ail us."

A message from Dr. Chow's Family

Dearest friends and family,

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our aunt Effie Chow last night, Friday, November 18 at 8:50 pm PST. Her dear friend Lisa Zayas, who was with her, said she passed gracefully and peacefully. Effie was adorned with her spiritual pendant shortly after her passing.

Her last days were filled with well-wishers via phone, email, zoom and in person. Rest assured that she received every one of your loving emails which paved the way for her journey to her next level. Effie received a number of in person and virtual prayer services during her short stay at the hospital. A beautiful prayer circle was conducted just hours before she passed.

You are invited to a zoom memorial to celebrate her life. On behalf of our aunt, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love from all over the world. We've heard stories about her accomplishments but never knew the magnitude of how far and wide she reached until we heard directly from you. And those stories from you not only included her accomplishments but confirmed what we already knew...her vitality and warmth were like no other.

A special thank you from the Chow family to all those who have done the heavy lifting not only during her recent illness but also in 2015 when she also had a serious medical emergency.

Sending you all a virtual hug of gratitude,
Kary, Roberta and Wendy Our memoriam is being laid out right now...
