Ottawa kung fu schools

I am plannning on moving to Ottawa in September of this year, and I was wondering what kung fu schools are located in Ottawa.
I have no previous martial arts experience, so this will be the first school I will be joining.

I was wondering if any people here could give me some information on Kung fu schools locatate in Ottawa. I would appreciate any information. Such as the school's name, styles taught, location, and contact information.

I will be moving to Ottawa to attend Carleton University, so any schools located near that area would be prefered, but not necessary (although I dont know Ottawa city too well).

Well any help would be appreciated, I just want to find a good school, and would like to know what is available to me, when I move to Ottawa.

This should start you going. Once you meet some people, you'll probably hear about other groups training with little advertising. I can think of at least two such groups off hand. You really have to poke around a bit to find what you want though. Good luck. :)

Don't know if Braden had a link to these but there is a White Crane school off Rideau and there is a recently opened Hung Gar school off Bronson. i've heard that the training is hard and traditional..weed out those who can't take it. You might not want to start in a hard line traditional school though, the conditioning might drive you away.

and just to counter Old Jong, there is also Sunny Tang Wing Chun studios in Nepean!
