I had to travel for work all last week (convention from 7:00 a.m. and then parties till 10 p.m.), now I'm back and I have to stay late. ****, I'm going through withdrawl, I need to get to class.

If you think work $ucks, you should try layoffs.

Wanna trade?

You think that sucks, try handing over the check every month to the wife and never seeing a penny for your personal porn. Now that's a hard life.

In my case the ol' paycheck goes to the little one.

Jeez, he needs new clothing like every 2 months.

Personal Porn, make it yourself. More fun that way.

Hobby wise I can't complain I got more materials stocked than I can finish before retirement. :)

What really sucks, and I mean really, is living in a cardboard box because you got laid of for hating your job, while all this is going on, having to buy your little new garbage bags.

Luckily, my lady understands the need for pron and I can ask to have it budgeted in now and then :D .

And work does indeed suck, although without it I'd probably have trouble with my lesson payments and insanly high manhattan rent (one bedroom: $1800).

<edit, oops that sounds nasty, the cold must really be getting to my head, I'd much rather bang my girlfriend all day, honest :D

I hear ya dude. I have a love/hate relationship with work.

20 hr day yesterday, was here till 5am then back at 9:30 this morning and will be cranking all day and into the night again, all while fighting a nasty cold. This sux. But I love what I'm working on and I want to do a great job. And i certainly like the paycheck.

But again my training this week is shot. Did some qigung in the middle of the night last night to try to energize, but thats about the extent of it. Hopefully if i can get this project under control I can start training hard and regularly next week....gotta kick this cold 1st! i used to train when i was sick but not now, getting too old for that. My head is spinning, which can results in ridiculous posts, oh well...

If I want to be in fighting shape this year I'll have to start really pushing myself again. Working less isnt an option. Merryprankster and some other folks on a recent thread inspired me to find a way to train harder while working long hours at the same time. If you read this, thanks :)

Well, back to it. Sure is sad state of affairs when my kung fu interaction is only a kfo message board. But at least theres that and like i said, it did inspire me.

being unemployed does suck....
if your job sucks then quit, create your own company, and hire us unemployed people.

I'm fighting a cold too. I must have shaken 300 hands at the convention last week, plus that airplane air always gets me.

Anyway, I usually have no problems getting training time in, even with a crazy work schedule. If I miss class, which I hate to do, I'll at least trane at home. But last weeks schedule was literally all day, and now I'm sick. I'm also at a point in my training where I need serious guidence, entering foreign territory.

I'm making the most of it though. I rented Kiff of the Dragon last night after work. Far fetched, but in the view of a Bond film, it was pretty cool.

If you like not-exactly-james-bond movies, The Art of War by Wesley Snipes isn't too bad.

I ahve a sucky job and the sad part is that it's the best job i could possibly have with my education/experience so things arent about to get any better, at least i got a computer and can watch movies at work.

Only thing that would be better would be if i got that job as a game-tester for a gaming company, and then i'd prolly be tech support when the game is released (tech support through email = a lot better then talking to old ladies with dialup accounts).

I have two suicidal friends who have a wife and kids to answer to.

To the one’s who have work CHEERS during happy hour and count your blessings.

To the one’s with no income just count your blessings.

Hmmm.

Maybe I am not so bad off after all.

My Job kinda sucks because of the Clients and their requests.
Apart from that I a pretty much left to my own devises and schedule.

Salary is decent, I can get by comfortably and manage to save a few hundredd $$$ a month.
Granted the Wife also works and adds her little bit.
Still looking for a new, better Job, but my current Job is pretty guaranteed.

Gotta love a Country with a 12 yr recession. And where I can get a month MA training for less than a visit to the Family restaurant for 2.
