Hello all, The way I was taught this form it should take around 5 minutes to complete. I have spoke with others who as a rule perform it at a much faster pace with much less emphasis on the isotonic components. I know there is no one correct way, I was just wondering how long everyone else takes to do this wonderfull form?

Quickest was 5 minutes. Longest (and I almost collapsed, couldn't because of dai sihing leading) was 25 mins.

The fastest i have done gung gee was 3 minutes and slowest i have done it in was 5 minutes (still focusing on speed for the most part, just a little slower). I try to do the lung ying section in gung gee with internal emphasis, so it adds some more time. I usually average about 4 minutes.

Peace :D

Practicing Gung Gee Fook Fu used to take me between 3.5-4mins always. When i practiced it with iron rings on, then it would take me at least 5-6 mins.
it is one of my favorite forms including butterly palms :)

I'm more concerned with "how good" than "how long".
