My watch doesn't use batteries because it's completely chi operated.

Cigarettes will, but not watches or gold.

Obviously smoking affects chi, not so sure about gold.....never heard this before. Though I did see a guy show an experiment using digital watches once. He would have someone hold out thier arm (without a digital watch on) and tell them when he tried to pull thier arm down to fight it, not to let him pull it down. And with obvious results the willing partners arm was hard to pull down. Then he had the person either hold the watch in his clenched fist or just put it on his wrist and try to hold his arm again while he pulled down on his arm. And the persons arm actually went down somewhat easier. Not only did I witness this but I also tried it and whether it was just a mind set everyone was in, I have to say it seemed to be the same results with everyone who tried this experiment. It was kinda cool. ;)

Hi azwingchun,

That is a well known stage trick and has been performed with various other objects as well as with empty hands.

It works because the muscles have not been able to recycle back to full strength ... but yes I have heard that kinetic watches (watches that wind while you walk) can sap energy off you (laws of physics) and I've heard that certian metals, gem, i.e. can sap energy from you. But most people never notice ...

My Watch is solar-powered, never needs a battery change.
But I guess the Radio communicator in it to keep the watch on accurate time might affect me a bit. ;)

Certain materials are said to affect the human body.

Not a funny Cat.

My Watch is a Citizen Attesa Eco-drive that charges itself via the watch-face on Sunlight.

It is also has a build-in radio-communicator that syncronises the watch once a day with an atomic clock (1 second variance in 1.000.000 Years).

I don't think it is offered in the states, but it is available in a few countries.

Mine is an older Version though.
