Hi All.

The thread of the "Weapon training anecdotes" I think should be followed by a thread on MA ones.
I am currently training inside an Aikido Dojo on Tatami flooring.

Anyhuh, the place is quiet spacious but we still run into space probs ocasionally.
Especially when one group does Weapon training (Sword, etc).

Normally we train in 4 Groups as per training level, but each group faces in a different direction. Occasionally it of course happens that 2 Groups kind "collide" into each other.

Scares the Beginners like hell, when a group approaches them handling Weapons or doing kicks, punches.

So what we do normally is "stop" the form and one whole group (experienced ones) hop in bird like fashion backwards while holding the Posture and resume the form when they gained enough space.

Feels and looks weird to see about 8 Guys incoming end in "Single Whip" and hop away from you backwards and continue as if nothing happened.
