No more chances to see Willin' and Wailie...and I blew all the ones I had.

God****it, why couldn't it have been Garth Brooks?

Oh yeah...Garth Brooks didn't have a decade-long $1,500 a day coke habit. That I know of.

there is a certain stage of enlightenment that can only be acheived cryin' into your beer with Waylon wailin' at top volume. perhaps i will go searchin' for it tonight in his honor.... ;)

this truly is a sad loss and a rough time for me personally as we lost my favorite blues man John Lee Hooker not so very long ago...

Can't ya see was one of the first songs I could play and jam to on the guitar, Waylon was the reason I bought my first Tele, a 68 with a humbucker. Sold it and bought an73 SG, still have it, still lookin for that perfect Tele. He will be missed

Wasn't Waylon Jennings the guy who gave up his seat on the plane for Richie Valens? Or do I have my people mixed up?

Anyway, I've never been a big fan of country music, but I did like Jennings. He was all right.

waylon was Buddy Holly's guitar player, and yes he did give up his seat on the American Pie (Buddy Holly's plane) to the Big Bopper.
