Dang I remember that from when I was like 5. I never cold get past like level 5 or 6 or something, I so sucked at it. I loved the guy who use to flex his chest muscles at the begining of the match, and the big fat dude.

A useful tip:


Pressing select rapidly between rounds will gain you more health for the next round. The Docs hand will move faster when it works.

I remember some old nintendo junk. Wasn't the universal konami code "up up down down left right left right B A start ?"

Keep dodging King Hippo until he gets tired, then hit him with the uppercut. He'll drop his hands when he gets tired.

Christ, I can't believe I remembered that. I haven't played Punch-Out in ages.

DON'T hit select before the first round, otherwise you'll LOSE half your energy!!!! Only do it once you are missing energy, before the 2nd or 3rd round.

Tyson and his dynamite punch were a real pain...I used to hate the russian dude too...
But Nemo, eventhough my memory is quite blurred, I can remember that the original game didn't really have the same lyrics than on the pic you posted heheheheheh

PHILBERT,
When King Hippo does that "downward smash" kind-of attack where he opens his mouth, punch him in the head. It will strike his teeth and he'll use his hands to cover his mouth. While he is covering his mouth, use alternating left-right body shots until he blocks his gut. If you don't alternate the punches, he will block his fat gut sooner.

i just got castlevania symphonies of the night in the mail today. chirst i have been looking for this game for about 2 years before i finally broke down and bought it off ebay. man ... sofn has been one of my favorate games forever . . . i'm as giddy as a fat man at a buffett. in fact i think im actually gonna skip training tonight and pick up some beer for the first time in a long time. well .. now that i think about it im not sure if ill be able to completely skip training but i guarantee ill be down there no more than a half hour.

plus i'm getting laid tonight.

I never beat Tyson :mad: When I was younger I played day and night, beating EVERYONE except Tyson. He's just to strong, fast.. He only needs like 2 punches and your down. I really hated him :D

As for Super Macho Man, he's a wuss if you can dodge him properly. dodge his uppercuts and pop him in the face. When he throws his super spin punch, he leaves himself open. Dodge all the punches - sometimes it's only one, other times it's alot, and as soon as he's done, unload on his face.

I could back in the day. You gotta time him. I can't remember what the combo is that he throws - hooks or something - anyway, when he's done pop him in the kisser and get a star. Use the star while he's still stunned. Do that every time he throws the combo. You know when it's coming because he'll wink.
