I believe that Stranger does either ROSS or Systema. I've some tapes on Systema which are interesting.

I've attended the first and so far only Australian ROSS seminar, and worked fairly intensively with some of the videotaped instructional material. This is about as close as anyone can get in Sydney, Australia.

One of my teachers' senior students, Peter Watson, trained in Systema at the Toronto academy, and last time I looked was the only Aussie accredited on the russianmartialart.com web page. I compared notes with him at an MA camp a while back.

Both systems seem to have a lot to offer. Both are trashed occasionally on various internet forums, but to their credit, the principals of both organisations do not participate in this.
