Dear Sir/Sifu, Good evening. I hope this message finds you feeling in the best of health. I am a student of Sifu Tom Sumbera in Seattle, WA(he is an 8 step mantis sifu under grandmaster James Shyun). My sifu is originally from Florida and he has only the very nicest things to say about Grandmaster Chan Poi(I have seen a picture of them together). Though I am not a Wah-Lum practitioner, I can remember vividly reading advertisements of Grandmaster Poi's Wah Lum Temple when I was 13 years old in 1983. Would you be so kind as to tell me if Wah Lum mantis is the same as 7 star mantis? If not..is it a branch of 7 star mantis?
