hi russell, I read your post regarding stanley cheung - with regard to wingchun. i was one of stanleys original students back in the early seventies. He was absolutely awesome. I read many years ago that he was managing a chinese restaurant in doncaster / lower templestowe area. i have this deep yearning to visit him and pay my respects. i know he wont teach wingchun openly any more, thats not what i want from him. he would be getting on in age now, like me o The closest to his teaching methods that i have learnt comes from Applied wing chun in hallam victoria - duncan leung lineage -very different application of wing chun - (power and body torque, higher bong sau tan sau are key elements.)
