It was through the D. Kash line and Rick Ward that I first became more acquainted with Sigong Wong's style. Rick is very good guy in my estimation, but we all later learned that David Kash's lineage claims were a little off, according to all opinions anyways...
That he was there and trained with Wong is beyond question (personal photos), but his involvement was maybe less than claimed.
The only problem that I would have with any history of the style is the suggestion the GM Wong knew 400+forms. My only question is: What constitutes a hand/weapon form in 5 Family? Or is the distinction between whole/half and shadow forms made? If one form for example, is to be a "complete form" must it contain a minimum of say (24-48) movements (or more), that's a lot for one man to remember accurately(400+forms). Particularly when you consider the time frames and circumstances of GM Wong's early training. ~But I didn't grow up learning this in a family/monastery environment, so my perspective is a little skewed...

You asked if Ark Wong was for real and something about him making it up. Who have you trained with in his lineage?

I saw a post you made on Bullshi(t)do from last year and wanted to comment. Ark Wong WAS for real and his style IS NOT fake. I have practiced this style for 29 years and teach it as well. He did not make it up. If you want more info, let me know or cruise the internet and you will find info.
