Biography:

I was accepted at 12 by Master Don Miller and Brothers of the Dragon in 1977. Master Don was half Indian too, but grew up in Taipei and he was ultimately loyal to tradition in a way that was prioritized so we could reach it. He did a perfect job imo of interpreting the best for us and he taught gong fu in the US for 40 years. He still makes weapons and you can find them by searching master don knives.
I retired after 30+ years in medicine a couple years back and teach as a way to keep my self up as much as I feel the obligation to perpetuate shao lin for those who are of it.
To separate medicine, which I will only escape in death really, I retired to be Kun Long because I wish to change gears just like that and go back to what I came from. After 15 years in the forest for no harm and all aid (monastery) I live in a rural house shared with family for financial, health and security reasons - I am the youngest and always been the family "helper".
I feel honored to have the students I do and pass forward what is "everything & nothing" (mstr don) honoring them as it was passed to me. Line forever, until G-d pulls the plug.
