i dont know anything about choy lay fut, other than its from guangdong. usually kung fu is regional, so i doubt you will find it outside of that area. perhaps ask in the southern kung fu section about that.

Well shandong is the home of mantis, so its definitely best to come here (Yantai/qingdao), also dongbei like dalian, harbin etc.

Beijing has some mantis too, my shifu has a friend who runs a school there. Il ask him for some information for you
