Attachment 9446My coach and good friend yao Honggang ‘s little brother is fighting in the UFC for the second time soon. I remember him when he was about 16 and training at the shuai jiao school in Beijing,way before he got into MMA. Yao HH was just starting to get into MMA back then. Zhi was really small skinny and weak back then, as seen in this photo [kneeling in blue jacket]. Can’t believe what he has become in just a few years. Really proud of him and his brother to have gotten this far.
That's awesome, do you know which UFC event he'll be fighting in? I'm getting more excited about a lot of the MMA prospects coming out of China recently.
He will be fighting in the Philippines for UFC Fight Night on the 16th.
you should check out Yao Hongangs fights too ,while you are at it. he hasn't fought in the ufc but has lots of fights on youtube. and his background is in shuai jiao
