article submission, Gene what do you think

I was wondering about submitting an article to Kungfumagazine. It would be about my styles history. The history is very interesting, the style came from Taiwan(buddhist monastary) traveled to Brazil then was brought to the USA.
The article would include acounts of challenge matches, training in the monastary(Ifind this very intersting, one thing is they locked my sigung in a room until he could kick an object that was over his head)and my sifu bringing the style to america. I haven't written the article yet and would need to interview my sifu to get exact details so I just wanted to make sure you would be interested first. I would have emailed the topic like I was suposed to but I wanted to see what other people thought about it too.(I write better than this I was just in a hurry)

We are in the process of changing alot of things alot of the language was lost due to the styles traveling so much(you've been to other countries maybe you could understand this situation). My sigung first learned the style from a neighbor in Brazil, who then took my sigung with him to Taiwan to the buddhist monastary(have to ask my sifu about the exact name of the monastary)where he learned the more advanced skills (plum posts, Iron palm, Light body skills which he unfortunatly didn't teach). Anyway after he brought the style back he never actually translated using a pinyin method or whatever was exceptable at the time. The Brazilians just sounded out the words and spelled them from that(what a mess) this made their spellings inacurate at best. So what we are doing now is taking what the word is supposed to mean(that survived) and translate that into Manderin. We cannot trace the style back very far only until my sigungs teacher(even this short version of the history is very interesting to me at least). I think the article would be intersting due to the fact that although this style has shaolin origins it was learned in a temple other than shaolin itself. You also said that in the polls people wanted to see more about kungfu's history. Of course I will not write the article until the language is concrete.

I used the web site www.lex.pristine.net to get the translation. I just typed in the word basic and several definitions came up(probally all seperate characters)and one of the definitions of the word fit it perfect. Hmmm maybe I should just get a dictionary instead. Do you speak manderian? Maybe you could help.

I got the translation form www.lex.pristine.net you just type in the word your looking for and the manderian version pops up. Do you speak manderian? maybe you could help.

wo de putonghua shi bu hao. yi dian dian.
Chinese character - you need the original character. If you don't have that, back-tracking will probably make it worse.
