martial arts geek or not I have way too much down time at work to not use it when I can.
may as well do something that will serve your fu and you office abilities.
dynamic tension:
Clench and release your muscles. Isolate them and do this throughout the day.
Clench your anus while sitting and tighten your core at the same time. (will ease any back stuff from sitting all day and work your core while tightening up your chute)
wrist rotations (strengthens the wrists and wards off teh old carpel tunnel syndrome)
go for a walk at lunch...don't be a lard ass.
eat right, don't go to the local gulp and blow all the time because it's convenient. It's not that it's convenient, it's that you're lazy, get with it.
ankle rotations while sitting.
stand up/ raise your arms/ lean back at where your lumbar and sacral vertebrae meet. lean over to one side don't bend the stomach or waste, do the same on teh other side.
loosely rotate at the hips.
squat with your feet flat on the floor as far as you can go and raise up again.
save the forms for when you get home. people will just think you're a weirdo if you do them at work. Besides, aren't they secret and all? :p
oh, and get yourself a squeeze ball stressy thing. great for devloping grip strength while reading or mousing.
