Well, I carry about 175-180 at 6'0", so I'm thinking I'll fight at about 165. Of course, I wont know for sure until I get some more iinfo from my coach. And that wont be until after his fight on Nov 22.Quote:

Does this mean I'll have to drop to 155? :(
D@mn it, I just bought a new suit. Now I'm going to have to go with the belted suspendered look by March. Bollocks.

Just gotta learn how to make it down to 165 for the weigh in, eat a philly cheese steak, and then be 200.
I thought that you could lose 10 lbs. from the weight that you were at last time I saw you....in my non-expert opinion. I think you could lose even more but you'll probably gain some muscle too during your training.
The Crip could lose even more. ~ 15 pounds
Just cut your carbs in half for now (especially in the evening, and no sweets), keep up or increase the protein, and see where you end up?
Crip's in a bind - hard to keep a good diet eating away from home
You calling me fat, Keith? ;)
The Slimming (tremble in fear) has begun. I'm down to about 170-169ish and carrying a lot less fat than I was when I began in August. I don't know what weight I'll end up fighting at, but 155 or 165 would be pretty comfortable for me. If I can keep dropping a pound or so a week, I shouldn't have any trouble making weight.
WD-- I always kinda assumed you'd fight at 165. But I'd definitely talk to Miguel before you decide, as he's semi-pro at this. If you can hang with the heavier guys then go for it (and it'll mean you don't have to give up so much of your wife's delicious cooking) ;). I just know I'll get fed to the wolves at the higher weights.
Of course, your teacher will have much better advice - maybe you should cycle the diet or something. I know it's hard to recover from tough workouts without alot of calories.
Or you could just try ZUMBA!
