HAY GUYSE WATS FEAR LOL
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

see! It totally works. :p
I have always worked on my weaknesses.
My Tang Soo Do teacher taught me that.
When he found I was backing up, he stood behind me, with his hands on my shoulders pressing me forward as I fought. (worse, it was against the PKA fighters that were training in our gym....not a wonderful experience, but a valuble one)
Or, he would put me in a corner and have me fight.
When I was standing too high, he swung a chain overhead.
When I was exhausted, and wanted to quit, he pushed me past my (percieved) limits-and that's, as we know where the magic happens.
Those lessons taught me to embrace my weaknesses and my fears, and turn them into strengths.
I realized my infighting was no good, so I boxed, studied Wing Chun and SPM.
I realized I was physically weak, so I trained with weights.
I always was the runt of the litter, like Sanjuro, so I always trained with bigger guys..not that I had a choice!
spiders..? well, that can wait, I suppose.
