Yes growth changes our perspective.
There are some who do not care about going to the ground and look forward to it. Taking those guys down only puts them where they want to be and only makes them more dangerous.

Zhang Xiang San and Liu Yun Qiao were late disciples under Ding Zi Cheng. The 1st disciple was Shan Xiang Lin.
Zhang Xiang San teached more students and had some disciples. Master Adam Hsu learned from him but i think he was not the 1st.
