Glad you liked a clip. That was pretty to look at. Natures wrath can be beautiful just don't get caught on the receiving end.
We had over 2000 lines down here. Poles snapped in half. Most leaned. Likely hundred if not thousands of trees broke in half or were up rooted. One of the videos said pine trees. Evergreens or whatever. We had hardwood trees get ripped out and break in half too. I saw a top coat ( shingles and hotmopped most likely ) ripped off a store at one of the plazas. I was in my car in the parking lot down a bit. That was the only actual thing I witnessed. I saw some good sized branches go down and things like garbage cans blowing down the street. But I missed the good stuff.
It is going to be expensive.
Sounds pretty gnarly. Did you see this? A house facing Lake Ontario got encased in ice...

No, that looks awesome Rett. Thanks for the pic. Wish I saw something like that in person. Of course that means being there. So.......pics work for me.
We may get slammed again tonight until Wed. Snow storm. All in in this has been a super mild winter but like always when that happens we get slammed at the end of the season. Dangerously so.
That's a good song. Never heard of them before. Love the girls voice. Id have banged her.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIC0aQ56ASE

Hi Billy,
Either you are slowly healing up or you just took a dose. :D

Greetings,
Aretha Franklin "Sparkle" Soundtrack: While it is well known that Aretha could really belt it out as a singer, the meticulous care with which she sang on this album was absolutely outstanding, She knew when to vocally surge forth and to hold back allowing her soft tones caress the diction of her words. I do not think there is another album that so deftly showcased her abilities. I she got a Grammy nomination for one of the singles. If only she could have gotten a lot more. Working with the incredible material of the late Curtis Mayfield:

Greetings,
Curtis Mayfield "We're a Winner" recorded before a live audience: This is one incredible find. This is one of the major works put forth by the late Curtis Mayfield that addresses the Civil Rights Movement. This recording actually puts you there in a way that books and documentaries fail to do. I was all chills and goose bumps. This recording is simply amazing:
