Show us the difference then, Frank. Take some You-tube clips and put them side by side to tell your side of the story of how we don't practise the same thing.

Joseph,
I said our founder went on to develop his kung fu differently, for example in Futsan our Chuen (move away hand) sticks to the side of ribs to protect the ribs, yet from what I've seen Chan family style has a more extended bridge arm if i'm correct.
joseph, chan heung borrowed from other systems....he was a MMA guy.....now u tell us....aside from the lee and choy ga n even fut ga stuff......what did chan heung create that wasn't already created?
So are Lee Yau San, Chan Heung and Green Grass Monk all CLF?
If "Jeung Yim studied from Lee Yau San as a Young man, before learning from Chan Heung before studying from our beloved Monk Green Grass" then wouldn't that mean that CLF existed BEFORE Jeung Yim?
I also recall something about Futsan branch or Lau Bun's art not having a name originally. What was that about?
Also where did Green Grass Monk learn his kung fu?
And while we're at it is it definitely GREEN Grass Monk and not CLEAR Grass Monk? :D
Let me rephrase that abit, Jeung Yim altered (Not Developed) his skills to suit him self, therefore the differences.

fut san's cheung kuen, ping kuen, kau da kuen, sup ji kuen and any other forms we teach were not passed down from chan heung. they are so completely different in every essence.....if we come from chan heung....why dont we have anything you teach?.......youtube joseph....you put yourself up on youtube jospeh, n ill match u!
Green Grass /Clear Grass, you might want to ask the descendants of Chan Family , because for the longest time Green Grass according to them didn't exist now he does according to them!
It's always been Ching Cho Wo Serng, a junior monk to Gee Sim Sum Si!
So if, for instance, I had the 10 fist seeds and none of the sets but had completely different sets would it still be CLF?
Frank, I'm not fighting with you about this, but I do enjoy a good discussion.
How can you say that they are completely, different?
Do they share similiar if not the same names??
Do they share similiar if not the same techniques?
That would be a "YES" to both. That being said, you would have to retract your statement, because they are obviously NOT completely different in every essence, are they??
Same seeds, even some of the same combinations..how can you refute that??
Precisely Lama,
Just so happened that our whole system have been altered (synomous with changed), and because of the alteration a change or distinction took on shape and form, different from its original state.
So that's it, how far the hand is next to the ribs. Have you seen this? At 00:48, Sifu Mark's hand is pretty close to his rib, he must be doing Futsan Kuen!

Right..I don't think that anyone is disputing that; the system has been altered.
1. you cannot say the whole system has been altered. You still have the same seeds, combos, names of techniques, form names, etc.
2. 'different from it's original state'. that quote implies that he changed the original style, which was very common amongst many styles and teachers. Wong Fei Hung restructured the entire style but Hung Ga people still recognize their ancestors in the proper order.
