Go to the full contact wing chun stickies thread in this forum and watch the first YouTube link that Phil Redmond posted. Now, read the 8 pages of comments. Lots of MMA guys saying that it's not real and they would have never done that against someone even mediocre. People claiming to have 10 years of wing chun experience claiming that some of the techniques used are not real wing chun techniques. Techniques that are obviously present in the advanced forms. (A sign that they are counting JKD experience as wing chun experience). Arguments siting Bruce Lee as the source of all Wing Chun knowledge. Lineage squabbles, yet more MMA fans saying it is ****.
So, even if one were to post such clips, the questions and insults keep coming. So why would we?
By the way, Sifu Redmond and I do not share a lineage and there may or may not be some differences in what we do, but props for putting himself in that situation and then handling the on-line BS as eloquently as he did. A class act who I should at least learn forum discipline from, if nothing else.
Bottom line, the martial arts community has always been a mess. The internet and UFC have made it worse. I don't blame anyone for staying below the radar and out of the fray. I'm questioning at this point why I poked my head out of my hole.
