Blue wrench....
Life feeds on life feeds on life....
Wrench, blue
yellow hammer
and the point is??
that you're fairly common.
the majority of people will pick the color red, and a hammer as the tool.
I read in Stephen Pinker's "The Language Instinct" that all languages have words for "black" and "white" and if they have a word for a third color, it's invariably "red."
Whatever that may mean in the context of this thread.
This is NLP type stuff (neuro linguistic programming). Based on language, correlations between colours, numbers, words, etc are developed by speakers of a language. So the numbers and calculations set your brain to think in a way that when confronted with the colour and tool, the vast majority of english speakers will respond with the colour red and a hammer.
your governament controls you
set free
I don't think the numbers have anything to do with it, other than to get your brain warmed up.
A hammer is the most common tool, and the most common color for a hammer is red (with a black handle, ala GDA's description). At least in the US.
red hammer, yet the hammer I own has a natural wood handle
Red Hammer. OMG!
Didnt read the whole thread, I dont wanna know the answer yet.
It's the numbers... try it out on some other site or with some of your friends & acquaintances. Try misdirecting one group using some other sequence and see what they answer when you ask for a colour and a tool, and see what another group answers with when presented with the numbers in the same way as the originating post.Quote:

If it sparks anyones curiosity, more info can be found on the net by searching for neuro linguistic programming and mentalists.
I am a fairly av chick, but it may or may not help that our backgroud colour is yellow. Failing that. I dunno what colour I'd've come up with.Quote:
