secular origin in Shandong............... well thats at least what I have been led to believe that is...
Incubated in Taoist temple(s) on Laoshan in Shandong, but raised in secular caravan escourt services.
Honestly, I don't think there will ever be historically verifiable proof, only speculation and best guesses.
Is there any indication as to what temple the monks that taught Shen Xiao were at?
