Yes it is brother/sister I believe. But terms can be regional, so I can only talk for Shandong and Shanghai, other places may be different.

si-jat = cousin male
si jat-lui = cousin female
Si pak = senior uncle
Si sook = junior uncle
These are Cantonese terms for filial designations within Kung Fu families.
