Taiwan Hequan Exhibition
Hello All,
The exhibition of Taiwanese and Fuzhou's Hequan (Crane Fist) will be held on th 5th of October, 2003, in the Cultural Centre (Wunhua Zhongshin) in Fongyuan (near Taichung).
Some of the invited performers represent Shihequan, Zhonghequan, Yongchun-hequan, and some local village's systems known under the name: Hequan.
Time: 9a.m. untill noon.
It might be a rare opportunity to see various Hequan being actually performed in one event.
This event is organized by Taiwan Wushu Preservation and Promotion Society.
Best Regards,
Paul Wollos

Well, since most of us are not in Taiwan, Could you tape the demo and put the clips on the web? :)
Anyways, I read elsewhere that you are scheduled to do a demo. Good luck.

Interesting
We did two articles on crane in our Jul Aug 2003 issue, one of which was a Taiwan master. You should post this on our calendar.

Paul,
Sounds fantastic. Are you involved in giving a demonstration yourself?
I'd love to obtain a video copy of the demonstration. Is this possible?
Best wishes

I thought Mr. Wollos was teaching BaGua now?

Hello,
I'm not sure about the video. I will have to obtain a copy from someone who will take the video, since I won't have time to film it by myself perhaps.
We still don't even know who will attend for sure.
Regarding Bagua: I've learnt Bagua and Xingyi from Chen, Yun-Jing laoshi, (the son of Chen, Pan-Ling), but I'm not much active in these martial arts. I redirrect people interested in Bagua to my teacher, since he actively promotes his father's martial arts in Taichung, through his Lin-Yin Chinese Kuoshu School.
My main fields are Daito-ryu and Shihequan. Recently I don't actively teach martial arts, just small private classes.
Sorry for posting it here. Next time I will do in the "calandar" forum.
Best regards,
Paul Wollos
