Interestingly (okay, maybe not), the Musical Youth version of that song, which was the big hit in US and UK used the term "dutchie," which means cookpot. They're talking about serving dinner. The original, by some band I forget about used a different word, collie (I think), which means weed and was a hit in Jamaica. Apparently there was some fear of censorship over the drug slang. Not that it fooled anyone, of course.

The original was by the Mighty Diamonds and had the title "Pass the Kouchie" (which would mean something very different here and now.)
