Carano vs. Cyborg was no novelty card. That was 4:59 of some solid MMA action. Anyone who thinks Carano and Cyborg are novelties has another thing coming.

Attendance was strong at HP with 13,524 in the house. And it was loud, all in favor of Gina. For a moment, I felt bad for Cyborg. She's a great fighter obviously, relentlessly brutal like so many...

Carano vs. Cyborg was plagued by several last-minute drop outs but Strikeforce still managed to put together some good fights for the night.

You should have heard that audience. It was *the* loudest roar I've ever heard at an MMA fight, and I was in the house for Shamrock vs. Le.

Could Gina have rallied in round 2 if the ref hadn't...

I confess, I haven't been this excited about a fight since Le vs Shamrock.

We're all hypnotized by her.

She's an amazing fighter. It's interesting to see how appearance plays into this fight - it's unlike anything that's happened in men's MMA.

I'm bummed that Josh dropped out again. He's been training with Cung Le. We were talking about doing a pre-fight interview with both of them, but that's moot now.

I'll have something for y'all soon too.
