What is the point about this thread exactly?
I was wondering that too...
Why are internal martial arts important?
You know, it might seem odd and obscure but... :( ... I do martial arts because one day I wanna be able to protect other people in a violent kinda way.
I know you can talk things out, but I like...
Did you read the first post? ;)
I never said that it would stop a certain degree of killing, I was just asking you guys how you think the world would be.
Just say that everybody negotiated.
... and hand-to-hand martial arts were more important than ever - how do you think the world would end up?
Remember - this is just hypothetically so things like criminals not negotiating is not...
Yeah... I think I'll go with mandarin.
BTW, My current sifu is american and he speaks english but later on I'm moving to SF.
Which one should I learn for kung fu?
Oh yeah, one more problem... Where am I going to live? It's expensive for college students to live in San Francisco. Well, I got a few years so I'll figure that out...

Anyway, I still haven't gotten the chance to check out the Wing Chun place yet but I will... Eventually...
EDIT: BTW, I think that wing chun was just an add-on to make...
What is the difference?
Because right when I walk down the street I see a big sign that says: "Kung Fu" ;).
What I meant was the price. I could see for myself if it's fake (with the help of a few FAQs over the internet)....
Hello,
I am looking into a school that teaches wing chun and karate kenpo (I'm only going to study kung-fu) and it looks alright but a bit pricey. The website is...
