Forgive me... I thought Chin Woo and their Wing Chun heritage was exactly what you were talking about??
Who do you know today that has this interpretation of TCMA Wing Chun you mean? I only know...
You are right I focus on training and have been trying my hardest actually for some time to stop posting online, especially here, as my time is pretty much wasted trying to share what I do.
Actually, no they do not. They reserve the right to do what they want with their own schools flavour of Wing Chun, but even the Foshan based Sifus I have met do not feel the need to join Chin Woo....
Very interesting comment, and seeing as you seem to be presenting Chin Woo in Foshan, can they tell us all who created our system?? Can the Masters there today share what they know about the Wing...
Dude! Are you missing the point??
It IS like this NOW!
It's funny how the guilty put their hands up first lol! I wasn't pointing my finger at you sir G, it was a simple proverbial finger at many people here including this Andy cat... but I've spoke to...
 NEVER lol!
But I am enjoying some of these threads... and you guys thought I was full of Sifu worship eh??!
No I'm in hibernation mode... and to be fair if I did venture down under to Oz I have more inspiring Wing Chun people to meet who I have known for years ;)
You trying to bait me out of the darkness G?? I am enjoying my retirement from KFO and haven't met up with anyone here... honest :D
A good list of techniques Joy, and to point out the obvious, we all have two legs so left and right together would make the lucky number 16! Some of the terms I have heard may be a little different...
I can't say much about this! Nothing to do with unifying Wing Chun IMHO. All Victor Kan
It would be interesting to hear if any lineage practises a 16 kicking method? Saap Look Gerk Fut? Or the Moi Fass Mook Yan Jong/Plum Flower wooden Man?
This is where I gained all of my...
Okay. Thanks for the 'detailed' explanation of why you want to see Wing Chun guys fight   but it is now clear to me where you stand on your view of Wing Chun.
For me personally, you...
I pass on my well wishes and hope he gets better soon.
Why? What is it you hope to discover by seeing that?
I think anyone that is versed in Wing Chun can decide to fight any way they like, or at least that's what I have seen over the...
I would hope so too Kev! ;)
I have heard the same, this is easy for most to do in China especially if they have a wushu degree! And then of course you had the Ip Man nmovie phenomenom that didn't help. ;)
It really couldn't...
I am pretty sure that if you did put up a clip of whatever version of SLT you want, it would be criticized beyond belief before anybody considered copying it and selling it off as their own! :o But I...

Many similarities here too, but also some major differences. Still, I don't look at that as good or bad, just different.
You're so funny Kev ;) :D
Hi Jox! And thanks for posting the clip.
I see many familiarities with most other modern branches of Ip Man Wing Chun, but the main differences (I see!) isn't just...
Would I be right in assuming this is similar to Ng Chans style??

This is why I'm asking ;) Are you actually saying that Kwok Fu then Ng Chan are the formal Gatekeepers of Ip Man Wing Chun, or Leung Biks system?
I'm a little confused.
So Ng Chan 'claimed...
Why not Joy? Is that what you were told? And FWIW I'm not really talking about 'Ip Man' Wing Chun, because that didn't really exist prior to his death did it?
I'm talking about Wing Chun, plain...
But you do quite a good job actually doing so G! ;) :D
The question that nobody has dared asked is this; If Ng Chan was so close to Ip Man, he would actually know who was selected as the...
