Both WSL and Ip Ching families put alot of emphasis on the pole so to say Ip Man disregarded it or whatever is a sweeping statement.

Many people will not understand the pole as many will not...

Has anyone seriously tryed sparring with the long pole?

Also I was wondering if it could be done safely using Full Contact Escrima Armour?
