i think, from what I'm seeing out there IRL, in a few years there will be very few schools that call themselves "SD" or openly affiliate with the remaining SD crowd and instead they'll adopt some...

It takes little to zero effort to learn enough mandarin or cantonese (or both) to service you in a Kung Fu school setting. There is no excuse to not know the pinyin or pronunciation for the handful...
heh, let's not pretend that it's even remotely hard to locate most of the current contemporary shaolin forms online these days. Shi De Cheng and others have seen to most of that.

I think any style that teaches you to stick your face out towards your opponent while simultaneously spreading your arms is not something I'd like to learn.
